1. Introduction

When something has gone terribly wrong in your computer the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) will pop up. Bluescreen Screensaver will simulate the Blue Screen of Death for your operating system. Different bluescreens will be emulated depending on if you are running Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000 or XP.

Bluescreen Screensaver is Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP compatible.

2. Install

Install the screensaver by launching ‘bluesaver.exe’ and follow the instructions. The install wizard will guide you through the installation.

After the installation wizard is finished you have to configure Windows to use Bluescreen Screensaver. Follow this simple step-by-step procedure:
1. Open Control Panel.
2. Double-click the Display icon.
3. Click the Screensaver tab.
4. Choose ‘Bluescreen’ in the drop-down menu.

The installation is now finished. (You can test the screensaver by pressing the preview button.)

3. Uninstall

Open Control Panel and double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon. Locate ‘Bluescreen Screensaver’ and uninstall it.
